PLACER COUNTY – Caltrans is notifying motorists of traffic-interfering pavement repair work next week at multiple locations on Interstate 80 between Auburn and Gold Run.
Work is scheduled on westbound I-80 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from the Rollins Lake Road/Magra Road exit to the State Route 174 separation in Colfax.
Paving work also is scheduled on I-80 between Bell Road and the State Route 49 separation. Eastbound motorists should expect delays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday of next week. Westbound paving is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, April 26.
I-80 travelers should expect delays and intermittent lane and shoulder reductions between Auburn and Gold Run during paving work. Motorists are reminded to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety crews performing these improvements.
