34th Street Exit along U.S. Highway 50 Scheduled to be Closed in Sacramento County

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sacramento County — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to close the off-ramp from eastbound U.S. Highway 50 to 34th Street (Exit 7 – UC Davis Medical Center Exit) for survey work.

The closure is scheduled to begin 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8 until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9.

Suggested Alternate Route:

  • From eastbound US-50 take the 65st Street off-ramp (Exit 8B). Turn left (northbound) onto 65th Street; stay to the right side to turn back onto westbound US-50 and use the off-ramp to Stockton Boulevard (Exit 6C). (The westbound off-ramp from US-50 to Stockton Boulevard will remain open throughout the duration of the closure.)

Work is scheduled to begin as listed but subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials, and construction related issues.
