Tobin Preservation Project on State Route 70 in Plumas County

The Project:

The Tobin Preservation Project will provide an asphalt rubber chip seal on State Route 70 in Plumas County from the Butte/Plumas County line to approximately 2 miles east of Chambers Creek Bridge.

Project Includes:

Pavement preservation via asphalt rubber chip seal with isolated areas of concrete dig outs. Shoulder work and the removal and replacement of thermoplastic pavement markings will also be provided by the project.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 25 working days for the project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is anticipated for 2026.
