The Project:

The Sundial Mill & Fill Project is a Highway Maintenance Pavement project that will repave State Route 44 (via mill and fill) from the Continental Street Undercrossing to the I-5/SR 44 separation in Redding.

Project Includes:

Mill and fill using rubberized hot mix asphalt – gap graded (RHMA-G) on mainline of State Route 44, along with area ramps.  Project also includes fog sealing of shoulders and striping.  No work is planned on guardrail, bridge decks, or drainage inlets.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 25 working days for the project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is anticipated for 2025.
