The Project:

Bridge maintenance project at 17 bridge locations in Shasta and Tehama County.

Project Includes:

The project will include repairing unsound concrete, polyester concrete overlays, joint seals, abutment work, and other repairs at the following bridge locations:

  • South Avenue Overcrossing (#08-0131) – Interstate 5, Tehama County (Corning)
  • South Fork Blue Tent Creek(#08-0026R) – Interstate 5, Tehama County (North of Red Bluff)
  • First Street Overcrossing (#06-0016) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Cottonwood)
  • Gas Point Road Overcrossing (#06-0037) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Cottonwood)
  • North Cottonwood Undercrossing (#06-0038R) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Cottonwood)
  • South Anderson Overhead (#06-0098) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Anderson)
  • Anderson Creek (#06-0142) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Anderson)
  • Loma Vista Drive Overcrossing (#06-0123) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Redding)
  • East Cypress Avenue Undercrossing (#06-0125L) – Interstate 5, Shasta County (Redding)

  • Victor Avenue Overcrossing (#06-0189) – State Route 44, Shasta County (Redding)
  • Churn Creek Bridge (#06-0153L) – State Route 44, Shasta County (Redding)
  • Shasta View Overcrossing (#06-0198) – State Route 44, Shasta County (Redding)
  • Stillwater Road Overcrossing (#06-0213) – State Route 44, Shasta County (Between Redding and Palo Cedro)
  • Bear Creek Bridge (#06-0080) – State Route 44, Shasta County (Between Palo Cedro and Shingletown)
  • Spring Gulch Bridge (#06-0006) – State Route 273, Shasta County (Between Anderson and Redding)
  • Clear Creek Bridge (#06-0203) – State Route 273, Shasta County (South Redding)

Current Project Schedule:

There are currently 150 working days planned for this project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is currently anticipated between May and November of 2025.
