Mill Creek Overlay Project on State Route 172 in Tehama County

The Project:

The Mill Creek Overlay project will repave a portion of State Route 36 from 2.2 miles west of the eastern junction with State Route 172 to Mill Creek Overflow Bridge and repave a portion of State Route 172 from 5.2 miles east of Martin Creek Bridge to the eastern junction with State Route 36.

Project Includes:

Provide thin hot mix asphalt overlay with areas of concrete dig outs within the project areas.  Shoulder backing and striping will also be included in the project.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 25 working days for the project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is anticipated for 2026.
