Bridge Maintenance in Shasta County

The Project:

The Bridge Maintenance in Shasta County Project will provide bridge rehabilitation at the following locations:

• Antlers Undercrossing (NB and SB) – Interstate 5 in Lakehead area
• Lakehead Undercrossing (NB and SB) – Interstate 5 in Lakehead area
• Slate Creek Bridge – Interstate 5 between Lakehead and Pollard Flat
• Sacramento River BOH – Interstate 5 near Gibson
• Creekside Road Undercrossing – Interstate 5, approximately 3.5 miles south of Castella
• Soda Creek Road Undercrossing – Interstate 5 between Castella and Dunsmuir
• Hat Creek Bridge (06-0085) – State Route 89, approximately 4 miles north of Old Station
• Hat Creek Bridge (06-0087) – State Route 89, approximately 1 mile south of Cassel Road
• Cayton Creek Bridge – State Route 89, approximately 3.5 miles north of Burney Falls State Park

Project Includes:

Various bridge maintenance operations at 11 locations in Shasta County.

Current Project Schedule:

There are an estimated 120 working days for this project, all of which will require traffic control.  Construction is currently scheduled for 2024.
