Dibble Creek CAPM

REDDING – Caltrans continues construction on the Dibble Creek CAPM (Capital Preventive Maintenance) project which will completely restore the roadway, and improve ride quality on State Route (SR) 36 in Tehama County. The project also includes new guard railing, new delineation and signage, and culvert repair and replacement. The project is located on SR 36 near Red Bluff, from just east of Salt Creek Bridge to Baker Road.

Starting June 23rd, there will be two closures within the project limits, at two active construction sites, accelerating project completion. The combined delay for both closures will not exceed 20 minutes. There will be one-way traffic control through the project limits, and motorists can expect these delays Monday-Saturday, during daytime hours. Some night work may occur at times, when feasible and safe.

The $13 million project includes 80 working days, with all days requiring traffic control. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of August.

Contractor Tullis, Inc., North Region Construction and Caltrans District 2 thank the traveling public and local communities for their patience during the construction of the project.
