SR-91 Improvement Project (SR-57 to SR-55)
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 12, in cooperation with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), proposes to widen and make operational improvements, including reconstructing ramps, bridges, and connectors on State Route 91 (SR-91), from west of State College Boulevard to east of Lakeview Avenue, Post Mile (PM) 4.8 to PM R10.4, SR-57 from PM 15.6 to 16.1, and SR-55 from PM 17.5 to R17.9 in the cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange, and Placentia in Orange County. This segment of SR-91 crosses the Santa Ana River and the OCTA/SCRRA Railroad. In addition to the No Build Alternative, there is a single Build Alternative under consideration. Minor Right-of-Way acquisitions are anticipated.
The information in the Draft Initial Study/Environmental Assessment is intended to provide project information such as alternatives being considered, how the existing environment could be potentially affected by the project, and how these impacts will be avoided, minimized, and/or mitigated.
