BUENA PARK - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin paving on SR-39/Beach Blvd in Anaheim and Buena Park on Monday April 8th. The work will take place weekdays from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. and Saturday nights into Sunday mornings from 9 p.m. - 8 a.m. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
This paving is part of a project to improve accessibility along SR-39 by rehabilitating the roadway and bringing curb ramps and other elements up to the appropriate American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project is also improving signal heads and safety lighting through the installation of high quality devices.
Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience while we perform this work. Traffic lanes and freeway on-ramps will be closed intermittently. Electronic Changeable Message Signs will notify drivers of closures and work times. Additionally, construction updates will be available via Twitter @CaltransOC and Facebook.com/CaltransOC.
