SR-241 Pavement Repair Project - Overnight Directional Closures
June 2-6, 2024
ORANGE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in partnership with the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) has scheduled overnight directional closures of State Route 241 (SR-241) for June 2-6, 2024 as part of the 241 Pavement Repair Project. Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists.
Closures for June 2-4:
- Southbound SR-241 closed between SR-91 and SR-261 split from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning.
Detour Information:
- Exit SR-91 at Imperial Highway; turn south on Imperial Highway, continue straight on Cannon Street, turn left onto Chapman Avenue, continue straight on Santiago Canyon Road, veer slight right onto southbound SR-241 or turn right onto southbound SR-261.
Closures for June 5-6:
- Southbound SR-241 closed between SR-261 and SR-133 split from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning.
Detour Information:
- To southbound SR-241: Take southbound SR-261; exit at Portola Parkway; turn left and continue to SR-241.
- To southbound SR-133: Take southbound SR-261; exit at Irvine Boulevard; turn left and continue to SR-133.
Please obey all posted signs and traffic instructions for the safety of Caltrans crews and travelers.
Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience while we perform this work. Electronic changeable messages signs will notify drivers of the closure. The work schedule is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and/or construction-related issues.
