Temporary Parking Restrictions
Jeffrey Road Park & Ride (Interstate 5 & Jeffrey Road)
IRVINE – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily close at least 80 of the 581 available parking stalls inside the Jeffrey Road Park & Ride, located at 5595 ½ Walnut Avenue in the City of Irvine. Closures are scheduled to begin Friday, March 15 and are expected to last through Spring 2025.
These closures are part of the construction of a new pedestrian-bicycle bridge to cross Interstate 5 (I-5) and provide a direct and safe connection between the Cypress Village Trail and the Jeffrey Open Space Trail (JOST) extension. More information about the project can be found here.
Please obey all posted signs and traffic instructions for the safety of construction crews and travelers. Electronic changeable messages signs will notify drivers of the closures.
