SAN DIEGO — Caltrans will close the eastbound State Route 54 (SR-54) connector to the northbound Interstate 805 (I-805) connector Saturday, October 17, from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. for construction operations. Eastbound SR-54 motorists may connect to southbound I-805, exit at Bonita Road, turn left, and then take the on-ramp to northbound I-805.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
