Westbound SR-905 Connectors to I-5 Closed September 17, 21, 22, 29

SAN DIEGO —   Caltrans will close the westbound State Route 905 (SR-905) connectors to Interstate 5 (I-5) on September 17, 21, 22, and 29 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for striping operations.

Connectors closed:

  • Northbound I-5 connector to westbound SR-905
  • Southbound I-5 to westbound SR-905
  • Westbound SR-905 to southbound I-5
  • Westbound 905 mainline exit to Tocayo Avenue

Motorists on northbound I-5 will take the Coronado Avenue off-ramp, turn left on Coronado Avenue, turn left onto Hollister Street, and then towards Tocayo Avenue/SR-905.

Motorists on southbound I-5 will take the Coronado Avenue off-ramp, turn right on Coronado Avenue, turn left onto Hollister Street, and then towards Tocayo Avenue/SR-905.

Motorists on westbound SR-905 headed to southbound I-5 will take the northbound I-5 connector, take the Coronado Avenue off-ramp, turn left on Coronado Avenue, and turn left onto southbound I-5.

Motorists on westbound SR-905 headed to Tocayo Avenue will take the northbound I-5 connector, take the Coronado Avenue off-ramp, turn left on Coronado Avenue, turn left onto Hollister Street, and then head toward Tocayo Avenue/SR-905.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
