SAN DIEGO — Caltrans will close the westbound State Route 54 (SR-54) connector to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) on Sunday, August 9, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for guardrail repair.
Westbound SR-54 motorists may take the connector to southbound I-5, take the off-ramp to E Street, and turn left to the northbound I-5 on-ramp.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
