Southbound I-15 to Northbound I-5 and Southbound I-5 to Northbound I-15 Connectors Closed June 7 – 11

SAN DIEGO —   Caltrans will close the southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) connector to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) on Sunday, June 7, to Thursday, June 11, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., and the southbound I-5 to northbound I-15 on Sunday, June 7, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Motorists on the southbound I-15 will be detoured onto the southbound I-5 connector, use the W 8th Street off-ramp, turn left onto W 8th Street, and turn left onto the northbound I-5.

Motorists on the southbound I-5 will use the W 8th Street off-ramp, turn left onto W 8th Street, and turn left onto the northbound I-5, then use the northbound I-15 connector.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
