IMPERIAL COUNTY — Caltrans will close the Eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to Eastbound State Route 98 (SR-98) connector and the Westbound SR-98 connector to Westbound I-8 for roadside improvements on Friday April 10th from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
Westbound SR-98 motorists will exit on Imperial Highway, head northbound, and then merge onto I-8 to continue westbound.
Eastbound I-8 motorists will exit on Imperial Highway, head southbound, and then merge onto SR-98 to continue eastbound.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
