SAN DIEGO — Caltrans will close the westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connectors to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) tonight, Tuesday, November 25, 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for temporary construction barrier installation.
Motorists traveling westbound on I-8 may connect to northbound I-5, exit at Sea World Drive, turn left to the I-5 southbound on-ramp, and continue to the southbound I-5 connector.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
