Eastbound/Westbound I-8 Connectors to Northbound SR-67/Magnolia Closed Mornings of Saturday and Sunday

SAN DIEGO —   Caltrans will close the westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to northbound State Route 67 (SR-67) on Saturday, November 22, from 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the Eastbound I-8 connector to northbound SR-67/Magnolia Avenue /westbound I-8 on Sunday, November 23, from 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for final striping work. On Saturday, the westbound I-8 off-ramp to Magnolia Avenue/eastbound I-8 on-ramp will remain open. On Sunday, the westbound I-8 on-ramp from Magnolia Avenue/northbound SR-67 will remain open.

Westbound motorists may take the West Main Street off-ramp, turn left to the eastbound I-8 on-ramp, and continue to northbound SR-67.

Eastbound motorists may take the connector to northbound SR-67. To connect to Magnolia Avenue, motorists may take the Mollison Avenue off-ramp, turn left to the westbound I-8 on-ramp, and continue to the connector to Magnolia Avenue/eastbound I-8 on-ramp.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
