San Diego — Caltrans will close the northbound Interstate 805 (I-805) connector to northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) and southbound I-805 connector to southbound SR-163 in the evenings from Sunday, October 26 to Thursday, October 30, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for broadband work.
Northbound I-805 motorists may continue north and exit at eastbound Balboa Avenue and connect to northbound SR-163.
Southbound I-805 motorists may continue south, then connect to westbound I-8, then to southbound SR-163.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
