I-5/SR-75 Connectors Closed Evenings August 3rd to 7th

San Diego —   Caltrans maintenance crews will close the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) to southbound State Route 75 (SR-75) connector in the evenings on Monday, August 4 to Tuesday, August 5 from 8:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. and the northbound State Route 75 (SR-75) to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector in the evenings on Sunday, August 3 to Thursday, August 7 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for surveying and broadband installation work.

Southbound I-5 motorists may continue southbound on I-5, exit at the National Avenue off-ramp, turn right to the northbound I-5 onramp, and connect to southbound SR-75.

Northbound SR-75 motorists may continue on northbound SR-75, exit at the 19th Street/J /J Street, turn left, and then turn onto the southbound I-5 on-ramp at 17th Street/J /J Street and connect to northbound SR-75.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
