IMPERIAL COUNTY — Caltrans maintenance crews will close westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to westbound State Route 98 (SR-98) and the eastbound SR-98 connector to eastbound I-8 on Friday, July 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for restriping.
Eastbound I-8 motorists may exit later onto Imperial Highway and connect to Eastbound SR-98.
Westbound SR-98 motorists may exit early onto Imperial Highway and connect to Westbound I-8.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
