San Diego — Caltrans contractors will close Division Street from Palm Avenue to the Interstate 805 (I-805) overpass on Sunday, July 27, from 3 a.m. to Monday, July 28, at 5 a.m. for bridge work on Interstate 808 (I-805). Traffic will be detoured at Palm Avenue and Euclid Avenue while local access to North U Avenue, South U Avenue, North T Avenue, North S Avenue, and North R Avenue will remain open.
Eastbound motorists will turn right on Palm Avenue, turn left on E 4th Street, turn left on to Euclid Avenue, and turn right onto eastbound Division Street. Westbound motorists will turn right to Euclid Avenue, turn right on E 4th Street, turn right on Palm Avenue and turn left onto westbound Division Street.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
