SAN DIEGO — Caltrans contractors will close all lanes on northbound State Route 125 (SR-125) at Jamacha Boulevard, and the connector from the South Bay Expressway (toll road) to northbound SR-125, on Friday, May 16, from 9 p.m. to Saturday, May 17, at 12 p.m. for road surface work.
- Northbound SR-125 (toll road) motorists will be diverted to westbound State Route 54 (SR-54), where they may take northbound Interstate 805, to eastbound State Route 94 (SR-94) to northbound SR-125.
- Eastbound SR-54 motorists headed to northbound SR-125 will be diverted off at Jamacha Boulevard where they can continue east to westbound SR-94 to connect to northbound SR-125.
- Eastbound SR-54 motorists diverted off on Jamacha Boulevard may also proceed north on Sweetwater Road to Broadway, then east on Broadway to northbound SR-125.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
