SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close the northbound Interstate 805 (I-805) connector to northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) and the southbound SR-163 connector to southbound I-805 Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work.
Northbound I-805 motorists may exit onto eastbound Balboa Avenue and connect to northbound SR-163.
Southbound SR-163 motorists can detour to eastbound I-8 and connect to the I-805 connector ramps.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
