SAN DIEGO —   Caltrans contractors will conduct a weekend closure of the Jamacha Road onramp to northbound SR-125, and a three-lane reduction on northbound SR-125 from Jamacha Road to the Troy Street overcrossing, at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 13th, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 15th. The connector from the South Bay Expressway (toll road) to northbound State Route 125 (SR-125) will be closed at 5 a.m. on Sunday, July 14th, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 15th. These closures will aid with slab replacement and additional roadway work being performed.

Motorists attempting to enter the freeway from Jamacha Road will be diverted northbound on Sweetwater Road and then eastbound on Broadway where they may enter northbound SR-125.

Northbound SR-125 (toll road) motorists will be diverted to westbound State Route 54 where they may take northbound Interstate 805, to eastbound State Route 94, to northbound SR-125.

While one northbound lane of SR-125 will remain open during this time, Caltrans is encouraging motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
