SAN DIEGO — Caltrans contractors will conduct a weekend closure of all lanes on northbound State Route 125 (SR-125) at Jamacha Road and the connector from the South Bay Expressway (toll road) to northbound SR-125, at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 21st, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 24th for concrete slab replacement and additional roadway work.
- Northbound SR-125 (toll road) motorists will be diverted to westbound State Route 54 (SR-54), where they may take northbound Interstate 805, to eastbound State Route 94 (SR-94) to northbound SR-125.
- Eastbound SR-54 motorists headed to northbound SR-125 may exit at Jamacha Boulevard, continue east to westbound SR-94 to connect to northbound SR-125.
Remaining northbound SR-125 motorists will be diverted to Jamacha Road where they may proceed north on Sweetwater Road to Broadway, then east on Broadway to northbound SR-125.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
