SAN DIEGO — Caltrans construction crews will close the southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector to southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) Monday to Thursday from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for roadway excavation and landscape activities.
Southbound SR-163 motorists may continue south to eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) and connect to I-805.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
