SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close the eastbound State Route 78 (SR-78) connector to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for guardrail repair.
Eastbound SR-78 motorists may exit at Jefferson Street, turn left to westbound SR-78 to northbound I-5.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
