SAN DIEGO — Maintenance crews will close the northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector ramp to eastbound Interstate 8 Saturday from 3 to 11 a.m. for guardrail repairs.
Motorists will be detoured to the Sea World Drive off-ramp and turn left the southbound I-5 Sea World Drive on-ramp to eastbound I-8.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
