SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close the eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to northbound and southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) Sunday from 3-10 a.m. for guardrail repair.
Motorists may continue east on I-8 to northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) and exit onto westbound Friars Road, turn right onto southbound I-15 to westbound I-8 to northbound or southbound I-805.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
