SAN DIEGO — Maintenance crews will close one to two eastbound State Route 52 (SR-52) lanes at Convoy Street from Saturday at 2 a.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. The 51-hour lane closures are required to repair dips in the highway and restore the roadway to level.
Beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday to 3 -5 p.m., crews will close the two left lanes; the right lane and the eastbound SR-52/Convoy Street off-ramp will remain open. From 3-5 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. On Monday, the right lane and SR-52/Convoy Street off-ramp will close, and the two left lanes will reopen. Motorists are advised to anticipate congestion and allow additional travel time to reach their destination.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
