SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector ramp to northbound State Route 15 (SR-15) on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to remove temporary concrete barriers.
Motorists will detour to the southbound I-5 Main Street/National City Boulevard off-ramp and turn left, then left on Division Street, then left on Osborn Street to the northbound I-5 on-ramp to the northbound SR-15 connector ramp.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
