SAN DIEGO — On Thursday, Caltrans maintenance crews will close the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector to eastbound State Route 94 (SR-94) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for concrete barrier work.
Southbound I-5 motorists will be detoured to the 27th Street/National Avenue off-ramp, turn right onto National Avenue to northbound I-5, exit onto 19th Street, and continue to the eastbound SR-94 on-ramp.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
