SAN DIEGO — Caltrans maintenance crews will close the eastbound State Route 52 (SR-52) to northbound Interstate 805 (I-805), northbound I-805 to eastbound SR-52, westbound SR-52 to southbound I-805, and northbound I-805 to westbound SR-52 to work on the maintenance vehicle pullouts and gore areas.
Eastbound SR-52 to northbound I-805 will be closed Sunday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Eastbound SR-52 motorists will be detoured to the Convoy Street exit; turn left to the westbound SR-52 on-ramp to the northbound I-805 connector.
Northbound I-805 to eastbound SR-52 will be closed Sunday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Northbound I-805 motorists will continue north, exit Governor Drive, and turn left to the southbound I-805 on-ramp to the eastbound SR-52 connectors.
Westbound SR-52 to southbound I-805 will be closed Monday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Westbound SR-52 motorists will be detoured to the southbound Genesee Avenue exit; turn left on the eastbound SR-52 on-ramp to the southbound I-805 connector.
Northbound I-805 to westbound SR-52 will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Northbound I-805 motorists will continue north, exit Governor Drive, and turn left to the southbound I-805 on-ramp to the westbound SR-52 connectors.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
