SAN DIEGO — Maintenance crews will close the westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to northbound and southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
for guardrail repairs. Motorists may take northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) and exit at Friars Road, turn right to southbound SR-163 to eastbound I-8 to northbound or southbound I-805.
The maintenance work schedule is subject to change due to weather, traffic incidents, or other maintenance considerations.
