Project Overview
The State Route 76 (SR-76) Culvert Rehabilitation Project will focus on restoring and replacing culverts along State Route 76 in San Diego County, spanning from 0.2 miles east for Interstate 15 (I-15) to 0.1 mile west of State Route 79 (SR-79). The project scope includes installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps, guardrail installation and upgrades, as well as Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA-A) backfilling at culvert sites to enhance drainage and maintain roadway safety and accessibility.

What to Expect
During construction, there will be intermittent lane closures with traffic control measures in place. At least one 10-foot lane will remain open in each direction during designated closure hours. Construction crews and equipment will be actively working at various culvert locations. Expect temporary increases in noise and dust, and possible nighttime or off-peak work depending on the site. Motorists should be prepared for slower speeds in work zones and are advised to follow all posted signage.
