Lane Closures on State Routes 120 And 49

Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) and State Route 49 (SR-49). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

 

State Route 49

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control on SR-49 between Washington Street and Bradford Street for a paving operation beginning Tuesday, July 2 through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control on SR-49 between Washington Street and Theall Street for utility work beginning Sunday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 9:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-49 between O’Hara Drive in Sonora and Flume Road in Tuttletown for tree work beginning Monday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
  • NOTE: This project is expected to continue at various locations through late July 2024.

 

State Route 120

  • One-way traffic control on SR-120 between Grizzley Road and Old Priest Grade Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 

Motorists should expect 10 to 15-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
