Lane Closures on State Routes 49, 108, and 120
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), State Route 108 (SR-108), and State Route 120 (SR-120) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- Lane shifts between Springfield Road and Melones Court for tree work beginning Monday, September 22, through Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
State Route 108
- One-way traffic between Stoddard Springs and Jenness Park Road near Cold Springs for drainage work beginning Tuesday, September 23, through Thursday, September 25, 2025. From 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control between Clarks Fork Road and the 7,000-foot elevation marker for drainage work beginning Monday, September 22, through Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control between Groveland Creek Bridge and Elder Road in Groveland for a special event on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
