One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic controls in place for construction and maintenance work on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-108 within Tuolumne County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- Overnight, one-way traffic control between Montezuma Road and Woods Way for drainage work beginning Sunday, August 16, through Friday, August 21, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Overnight, One-way traffic control between Rolling Hills Road and Main Street in Jamestown for drainage work beginning Sunday, August 16, through Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Overnight, one-way traffic control between SR-108 and Forest Road in Sonora for drainage work beginning Tuesday, August 18, through Friday, August 21, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
State Route 108
- Overnight one-way traffic control between Coffil Road and East Long Barn Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, August 16, through Friday, August 21, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control between Herring Creek Road and Leland Meadows Road for drainage work beginning Tuesday, August 18, through Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control between Closure Gate #1 and County Road for electrical work beginning Monday, August 17, through Friday, August 21, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
