Lane Closures on State Routes 49 and 108
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 108 (SR-108) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- Moving, alternating lane closures between the Mariposa County line and Moccasin Creek for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, August 11, through Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 108
- Moving, alternating lane closures between Hidden Acres Road and Sonora Pass for a striping operation beginning Monday, August 11, through Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
