Lane Closures on State Routes 49 and 120
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 120 (SR-120) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control on the New Melones Reservoir Bridge (Tuolumne/Calaveras County line) for a bridge inspection on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control on the Tuolumne River Bridge for a bridge inspection on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
