One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49) & SR-120 in Tuolumne County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County line to State Route 120 South for drainage work beginning Monday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
State Route 108 - CANCELLED
One-way traffic control from the 8,000 ft Markert to 9,000 ft Marker for drainage work beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control from the Groveland Creek Bridge to Ponderosa Lane for drainage work beginning Tuesday, March 17, through Friday, March 20, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
