Lane Closures on State Routes 49 and 108
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 108 (SR-108) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control between Von Kleiben Road and Reynolds Ferry Road for tree work beginning Monday, March 17, through Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 108
- Overnight, closures of the #1 (left) lanes between Lime Kiln Road and Old Wards Ferry Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, March 16, through Friday, March 21, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
