Closures on State Routes 33, 99, 108, 120, 132, and Interstate 5
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 33 (SR-33), State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 33
- One-way traffic control at Fink Road in Crows Landing for electrical work beginning Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at Sperry Avenue in Patterson for electrical work beginning Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- Alternating lane closures at Las Palmas Avenue in Patterson for electrical work beginning Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 99
- Overnight, intermittent full closures of the offramps to Main Street, Lander Avenue, and the Enoch Christoffersen Rest Areas in Turlock for construction work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, alternating lane closures on southbound SR-99 at Broadway Avenue in Salida, Kansas Avenue in Modesto, the Ceres Main Canal in Ceres, and Keyes Road in Keyes for K-Rail installation beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound SR-99 at the Enoch Christoffersen Rest Areas in Turlock, Keyes Road and Faith Home Road in Keyes, the Ceres Main Canal and Hatch Road in Ceres, and Ninth Street in Modesto for K-Rail installation beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, full closure of the onramps to northbound SR-99 from Keyes Road in Keyes and southbound SR-99 from Kansas Avenue in Modesto for K-Rail installation beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Moving closures of the #1 (left) lanes between the Ceres Main Canal in Ceres and Briggsmore Avenue/Carpenter Avenue in Modesto for a sweeping operation beginning Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
State Route 108
- Overnight, one-way traffic control at First Street in Riverbank for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Overnight, alternating lane closures at State Route 219 and Ladd Road near Modesto and Crane Road in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Full closure of SR-108 (K and L streets) at 14th Street in Modesto for a special event on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
State Route 120
- Overnight, one-way traffic control between East A Street and State Route 108 (F Street) in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, one-way traffic control at Atlas Road in Oakdale for K-Rail installation beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
State Route 132
- Overnight, alternating lane closures between Ninth Street and La Loma Avenue in Modesto for electrical work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Overnight, one-way traffic control between Eucalyptus Avenue and Reinway Avenue in Waterford for paving work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Interstate 5
- Overnight, alternating lane closures between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 5, through Friday, October 10, 2025, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.
