Closures on State Routes 33, 99, 108, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures next week on State Route 33 (SR-33), State Route (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), and Interstate 5 (I-5).  Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 33

  • One-way traffic control at various locations between Stanislaus Street and Jensen Road in Newman for a crack seal operation beginning Tuesday, June 24, through Friday, June 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Stuhr Road and the Merced County line for a crack seal operation on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 99

  • Full closure of the northbound off-ramp to Crows Landing Road in Modesto for landscape work on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

State Route 108

  • Alternating lane closures at Leveland Lane in Modesto for construction work beginning Monday, June 23, through Friday, June 27, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Interstate 5

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 22, through Friday, June 27, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

  • Overnight, full closure of the on-ramp to northbound I-5 from Ingram Creek Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, June 22, through Friday, June 27, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.

Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.
