Closures On Interstate 5
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane and ramp closures next week on Interstate 5 (I-5). Work to occur as follows:
Interstate 5
- Overnight, alternating lane closures between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, May 4, through Friday, May 9, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Overnight, full closure of the on-ramp to northbound I-5 from Ingram Creek Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, May 4, through Friday, May 9, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
