Temporary Highway Closure Next Week
Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following traffic controls on State Route 140 (SR-140) in Mariposa County. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 140
- Full highway temporary closure from SR-49 South to SR-49 North for special event on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
