One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following traffic controls on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 in Mariposa County. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Miami Mountain Road to 3rd Street for tree work beginning Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to Bear Valley Road for tree work on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
State Route 140
- One-way traffic control from Cobey Lane to the Bear Creek Bridge for utility work on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
