One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week
Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- Overnight one-way traffic control from Miller Road to South SR-140 for electrical work beginning Tuesday, September 8, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Yosemite Bug Hostile to Briceburg Road for wildfire beginning Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control at Savage Trading Post for sign/banner work on Tuesday, September 9, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Dry Gulch to Foresta Road for highway construction work on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Conventional highway traffic break from the Bear Creek Bridge to Yosemite National Park for utility work on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
